As Manager Engineering (m/f/d) for High Voltage Connectors in our Automotive division, you will lead a team of developers to design and optimize connectors, ensuring efficient power supply for tomorrow's electric vehicles. In collaboration with a leading European OEM, you will address evolving requirements for current-carrying capacity, mechanical robustness, and automation, contributing to the progress of e-mobility. The position values open-minded, flexible, and communicative individuals, and operates within a dynamic, networked project environment that leverages agile development methods.
Job Requirements
Provide professional and disciplinary leadership to a product development group specializing in HV systems and interconnection technology within the engineering organizationOffer technical leadership for development projects, including planning and allocating resources, setting schedules, and prioritizing tasks within the teamDefine product requirements in collaboration with customers and support them in developing innovative solutionsPursue creative approaches in both product and process design to optimize costs, quality, and development timeExpand technical knowledge and foster employee development within the groupImplement corporate goals within the development group, including key performance indicators (KPI)Communicate and collaborate with other TE functional areas, including cross-location coordinationSupport quality and cost optimization initiatives throughout series production (VAVE)Plan and initiate verification scopes while evaluating results for concept and design validationWhat your background should look like
Successfully completed university studies in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering, or a related fieldAt least six years of professional experience in product development, preferably in the automotive sectorA minimum of three years proven experience in leading and managing teamsExperience with injection molding, stamping, bending, material technology, connection technology, manufacturing technology, and automated assemblyDemonstrated high level of personal responsibility, ownership, and flexibility in a fast-paced project environmentStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions under tight deadlinesSolid project management and organizational abilitiesProficient user of MS Office toolsExcellent relationship-building and communication skills, suited for work in an international environment, including strong English language proficiency (written and verbal)Competencies
