Opportunity We’re hiring for our Platform InfraSec squad. This squad owns the automation and decision‑making around our underlying CSP and compute security features for Grafana Cloud, including cloud service provider IAM, Kubernetes RBAC, secret management, and workload security. We ship code to simplify secure decision‑making for engineers by providing pre‑configured, secure templates and embedding security best practices into our development tools. We also help engineers across Grafana Cloud make the best security decisions through reviews and advisory. What You’ll Be Doing You enjoy working with engineers and with the management structures that support you and your team to do their best. You are comfortable working in a remote‑first company; communication is key. Collaboration, friendliness, respect, and consensus‑driven decisions are essential. You approach development holistically. The team owns the full life‑cycle of our code – from design docs, developer feedback, to integration testing. We primarily use Go, Python, and Shell. You have experience operating your code; grounding in both operators and developers helps us build better platforms for our users. What Makes You a Great Fit Familiarity with CSP IAM and Kubernetes RBAC. Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform/Crossplane/Helm. Experience operating and managing workloads on Kubernetes. Experience with cloud security posture management (CSPM). Bonus Points For You’ve worked in or contributed to open source, or other community‑based projects. Experience with a few CSPs; we operate on AWS, GCP, and Azure using EKS, GKE, AKS. Familiarity with threat modelling, secure architecture reviews, and security tabletop exercises. Experience with Okta administration. In Germany, the base compensation range for this role is EUR 97,034 – EUR 116,441. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skill set as assessed throughout the interview process.
