As a Senior Customer Experience Designer (UX/UI) (f/m/x) within our Avenga Experience unit, you shape intuitive and scalable digital experiences across complex product environments. You translate business requirements and user insights into meaningful solutions that create measurable impact.
Working closely with product leadership and engineering teams, you drive end-to-end design initiatives — from research and validation to high-fidelity concepts and implementation alignment. You ensure usability, accessibility, and consistency across features and platforms. Experience in banking and financial services environments is considered an advantage.
Ideally, you're based in Berlin or Cologne. If you are elsewhere in Germany, remote work is definitely possible.
This is you
* 7+ years of professional experience in UX and UI design
* Proven track record delivering complex product experiences
* Strong expertise in UX and UI design principles
* Experience leading user research and usability testing initiatives
* Strong understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design
* Advanced proficiency in design and prototyping tools
* Strong stakeholder communication skills, with experience facilitating workshops, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and client environments
* Experience mentoring and guiding designers
* Experience in banking or financial services environments (advantageous)
* Upper-intermediate English skills and German language skills for effective collaboration

* Lead the design of complex user flows and key product areas
* Drive usability improvements through research and testing
* Design wireframes and high-fidelity interface concepts
* Create interactive prototypes for validation and stakeholder alignment
* Develop interaction patterns and scalable interface components
* Ensure consistent application of design systems and standards
* Facilitate workshops and stakeholder alignment sessions
* Collaborate closely with development and product leadership
* Mentor designers and review design deliverables
* Contribute to the continuous evolution of design guidelines
