Location: Bedburg, GermanyCompany: SANY Europe GmbHResponsibilities:Be responsible for the selection, evaluation, and certification of electrical and electronic components related to functional safety for all-terrain and crawler cranes, ensuring compliance with relevant functional safety standards such as ISO 13849 and IEC 61508.Lead or participate in the development, testing, and validation of functional safety software (e.g., for PLCs or safety controllers) using languages such as C/C++, ensuring that the software architecture and code implementation meet the required ASIL levels (e.g., ISO 13849 PLr / IEC 62061 SIL).Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to functional safety, including safety plans, FMEA/FTA analyses, technical safety concepts, and test specifications, to support the functional safety certification process for the entire product.Collaborate closely with local European suppliers, certification bodies, and global R&D teams to ensure that product designs meet the regulatory and standard requirements of the European market.Requirements:Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Vehicle Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.3+ years of experience in functional safety development in cranes, with familiarity of relevant international safety standards.Extensive experience in electrical/electronic component selection, with a strong understanding of the technical parameters and safety certification processes for safety-related components such as sensors, actuators, and controllers.Proficiency in C/C++ programming, with practical development experience in safety-critical systems (e.g., automotive AUTOSAR, construction machinery controllers).
