You can find out more about our location in Weil am Rhein and Rheinfelden here: www.fisherclinicalservices.com Discover impactful Work The Team Lead QC supervises the Quality Control (QC) team and ensures that all GxP activities on site comply with GMP/GDP requirements as well as internal company procedures and customer-specific standards. Scope covers the entire secondary packaging and warehouse lifecycle of clinical trial supplies (CTS) such as investigational medicinal products (IMPs), medical devices, ancillary supplies (Bedarfsprodukte) and other studyu2011related materials. A Day in the Life Lead, coach and develop the QC team, including performance and time management. Ensure the QC team meets site KPIs (e.g. on-time training, on-time TrackWise closure, delivery performance). Perform incoming goods inspections and release delivered materials. Perform outgoing goods inspections, i.e. final check of packaged study medication or customer-specific shipments ready for dispatch. QC Start-up Release and Approve secondary packaging orders. Act as liaison between Operations and QC; allocate workload to inspectors to secure consistent performance. Maintain effective stakeholder interface management (QA, QPs, QPS, logistics and distribution, client services / project management, etc.) to align QC requirements and timelines. Serve as primary point of contact and subject-matter expert for QC inspectors and Operations on inventory control and/or outgoing-goods inspections. Investigate internal and external deviations detected during routine operations and drive timely resolution. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives; participate in FMEA meetings and prepare risk analyses. Ensure data integrity (ALCOA) for all records Ensure new team members receive adequate training and qualification. Plan weekly workloads for QC inspectors and review vacation requests. Conduct mid-year and year-end performance reviews; set individual goals aligned with departmental objectives. Conduct interviews for potential new hires in coordination with Talent Acquisition. Review and revise work instructions, forms and department-specific procedures.u2003 Keys to Success Education: Completed vocational training or equivalent qualification in a technical, scientific, or commercial field. Experience: Several years of professional experience in Quality Control, ideally within a GDP-/GMP-regulated environment (goods in and/or goods out). Proven leadership experience in managing and developing teams. Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements (GMP/GDP) and relevant quality standards. Practical experience in handling deviations as well as creating and maintaining SOPs, work instructions, and forms. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Strong knowledge of GDP/GMP processes. High sense of responsibility, accuracy, and efficiency. Ability to prioritize and effectively allocate resources across multiple areas. Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to motivate and develop team members. Strong problem-solving skills, resilience, and decision-making ability. Organizational skills and structured working style, even under pressure. Strong team orientation and close collaboration with different departments. Proficient in MS Office; experience with warehouse management systems is an advantage. Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
