To support our Medical Team in Germany, we are looking for support as:Medical Scientific Liaison Manager Oncology (f/m/d)Region: Northeast Germany (Berlin, Cottbus, Frankfurt (Oder), Rostock)Focus will be onIdentify and develop relationships with national and regional medical and scientific KOLs consistent with the strategy and objectives of Medical Affairs and overall Ipsen strategiesEngage in scientific exchange and education about current and emerging therapies in a compliant fashion with KOLs (to include advisory boards, individual meetings, and congresses)Develop and maintain scientific, clinical and therapeutic expertise in the areas of OncologyRepresent the company at specific continuing medical educational events, programs, medical meetings and scientific conventionsWork with clinical development as requested to identify and engage with appropriate sites for Ipsen trials and identify disease concepts that can be leveraged into product differentiationDifferentiate Ipsen as the valued scientific partner of choice through innovative initiatives, coordinated strategy, and scientific communicationProvide appropriate scientific, clinical, and educational support for internal cross functional customers (including other members of the MSL team)Support medical publications as needed (abstracts, manuscripts, etc.)Support commercial operations by participating in Speaker and Representative TrainingLead/participate on special project teams as necessarySupport cross-functional teams to ensure operations are patient-focused, including rapidly responding to internal and external requests to discuss specific situations and challenges and provide medical affairs support to all stakeholdersQualification requiresAdvanced Scientific, healthcare or medical degree (PharmD, PhD, MD) is requiredMedical/paramedical Practice or Research career (hospital and/or hospital related, university research, pharmaceutical industry research or medical affairs)Previous holding of an MSL or related role with at least 2 years' experiencePrevious and recent experience in Oncology is an advantageProven experience and successful track record as an MSL or medical department professional in a previous companyExperience in delivery of scientific presentations and development of relationships with Thought LeadersDemonstrated expertise in ability to synthesize and communicate medical information clearlyKnowledge in data analysis and statistics as well as legal, regulatory, and compliance regulations and guidelinesTeamplayer with solution-oriented approach and good communication skillsAbility to travel ~ 60-80% (based on the size of respective geography)Business fluent in German and EnglishOur offerA permanent employment contract in an international future-oriented and dynamic companyA meaningful job with real added value for society and patientsPersonal development and the opportunity to actively contribute to the company's successA pleasant and personal working atmosphereCommunication at all levels and an open corporate cultureUp to 36 days off and vacationFlexible working hoursAttractive and performance-related paymentCompany health management, sports offers and pension schemeWe look forward to receiving your application with details of your earliest start date and salary expectation.Thank you for considering Ipsen as an employer of choice.
