To support this mission, we are currently looking for a research developer to join our collaborative team and contribute to bringing our research ideas to life through innovative solutions.
You will be involved in innovative research projects of the chair's research group and support the projects with your technical expertise.

You will handle the Linux system administration of the virtual machines for research projects and student projects and set up necessary network configurations.
You will provide support in setting up survey studies (e.g., LimeSurvey) and help with online experiments and user studies.
You will support setting up appropriate learning data analytics tools of the chair and prepare regular reports for this purpose.
You will maintain the chair's website in the content management system (Imperia) of the FernUniversität.
You will administer the chair's collaboration platforms (SharePoint / Teams), identify opportunities for setting up new workflows, and ensure the implementation of the data security concept.
You will design and evaluate software and hardware concepts for the chair's research.
You have a bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or a similar field, or you have completed vocational training as an IT specialist specializing in application development.
You have very good knowledge of at least one programming language and the willingness to familiarize yourself deeply with web technologies (HTML / CSS / JS / PHP) and analytical tools (Python / R).
You are experienced with common operating systems (Windows / Linux) and network configuration.
You are committed to continuously developing your skills and have a fundamental interest in business informatics research.
You communicate confidently in English and are willing to learn and improve your German language skills.
