Purpose
Create industry leading designs for assigned franchise, which promotes a desirable and clear adidas brand image, from sell in to sellout (consumer-facing)
Key Accountabilities
* Lead the Creative process for franchise concept across within the Football BU
* Develop concepts and creative strategies that fulfill objectives of category, concept, briefs
* Collaborate with Color/Material/Graphic design to ensure color roll out execution
* Collaborate with Brand Design team to ensure holistic storytelling
* Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure consumer- and brand focus
* Collaborate with Future and Advanced Concept team to bring relevant innovations to each franchise
* Review and approve production stages of creative execution
* Maximise results within given budget and timeframes
* Participate in creation of seasonal and long-term Creative Direction strategies
* Present and communicate creative solutions with clarity, effectively selling in ideas to variety of stakeholders
* Identify opportunities of improvement and change, and initiate own proposals/projects
* Seek out new Design resources that can deliver world class results
Knowledge, Capabilities and Experience
* Design expertise in Adobe Creative Suite
* Working knowledge of MS Office applications
* Strong visual and verbal communication skills with the ability to create impactful/exciting visuals
* Language: English: excellent, Another European language: fluent
Qualifications
1. Under-graduate level Design education or combination thereof
2. Solid education and advanced experience in design and communication applications (2D & some 3D)
3. At least 5 years experience in Sporting Goods Design
4. Proven experience with the entire design process (project scope and time planning, design steps, production/execution of design solution, pre-press processes)
5. Passion for adidas and it’s mission
