As Regional Proposal Manager & Team Lead, you will act as both strategic leader and hands-on coordinator, ensuring our proposal processes run smoothly and efficiently across regions. You will inspire collaboration, foster accountability, and continuously raise the bar for excellence in every submission.
Your Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and develop a high-performing Proposal Management team across Europe, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
2. Oversee the evaluation of RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs to ensure requirements are met and exceeded for competitive proposals.
3. Drive quality and consistency across all proposal deliverables, ensuring submissions are timely, accurate, and aligned with customer expectations.
4. Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between departments such as Marketing, IT, Product, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
5. Ensure process compliance with internal proposal management standards and guidelines.
6. Implement and optimize proposal management tools and systems, including content management and automation platforms.
7. Act as a mentor and coach to team members, sharing best practices and fostering professional growth.
Your Profile
8. University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Logistics or a related field.
9. Proven leadership experience, ideally in proposal or bid management within an international environment.
10. Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 1 year in the logistics or supply chain industry.
11. Excellent communication, coordination, and writing skills.
12. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
13. Solid understanding of global forwarding, customer markets, and freight services.
14. Basic financial acumen and strong business sense.
15. Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
