Postdoctoral Researcher in Digital History

As a postdoctoral researcher, you will play a key role in our interdisciplinary team, contributing to the development of cutting-edge research projects and collaborating with historians, data scientists, and digital humanists.

* Digital methodologies for historical research
* Machine learning and data visualization
* Collaborative research projects with international partners
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced researcher who can contribute to our dynamic research environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in history, digital humanities, or a related field, and excellent communication skills in English.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct independent and collaborative research within one or more of our research focus areas
* Develop and teach training materials and workshops for doctoral candidates
* Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
* Assist in the coordination of C2DH activities, including seminars and public engagement events
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A PhD in History, Digital Humanities, or a related field
* Excellent digital literacy and experience with machine learning and data visualization tools
* Strong communication skills in English and good knowledge of French or German
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team
