We're currently working in partnership with a fast-growing HealthTech and consulting firm that is making significant strides in modernising healthcare management across Germany. Backed by a global consulting group, this organisation blends deep healthcare expertise with advanced technology to deliver sustainable improvements in clinical and administrative performance.
With a growing portfolio of digital transformation projects and strong recognition within the healthcare sector, they are now looking to expand their engineering team in Berlin. We’re currently looking to speak with experienced Java or JVM-based developers who are passionate about building software that makes a real-world impact.
What You’ll Do
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications based on Java and other JVM technologies.
* Collaborate with consultants, designers, and subject matter experts to build innovative healthcare solutions.
* Contribute to architectural decisions and best practices in a modern, agile development environment.
* Write clean, maintainable code and develop robust testing practices.
* Support continuous integration and deployment pipelines and work across teams to deliver value quickly.
What They’re Looking For
* 3+ years of professional experience in JVM-based development (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Scala), ideally with frameworks like Spring Boot or similar.
* Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
* Frontend experience (React, Angular, TypeScript) or full-stack capability is a strong advantage.
* Strong software engineering fundamentals and a commitment to writing quality, testable code.
* A collaborative, proactive mindset and a desire to work in an interdisciplinary team.
* English fluency required; German language skills are a plus.
