CORE SAP Security Architect (all genders)
The CORE (Customer Oriented Resilient Enterprise) program is a game changer for Bayer as we strive to become the best in class in the industry. It aims to develop and introduce an end-to-end (e2e) business, enabled by a state-of-the art and resilient technical backbone which enables Bayer to deliver a seamless experience for our customers, suppliers and employees.CORE is a multi-year, strategic Business-led, IT-enabled global program that will facilitate our transformational journey. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. You lead the design, configuration, and customization of SAP BTP security services, including integration with SAP S/4HANA and SAP SaaS solutions
2. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security solutions aligned with business and operational requirements
3. You analyze security requirements, define strategies, and provide technical guidance for efficient and secure integrations
4. You establish and maintain security strategies, standards, and guidelines
5. You act as the service and system owner for SAP Cloud Identity Services
6. You monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize authentication and authorization processes to ensure system stability and reliability
7. You stay up to date with SAP BTP innovations and continuously improve security capabilities and best practices
8. You provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and manage collaboration with external IT providers and SAP (RISE with SAP)
WHO YOU ARE
9. You hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or have equivalent work experience
10. You bring several years of experience in security frameworks, with a strong focus on SAP BTP and integration with SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP systems, ideally in a regulated (GxP) environment
11. You have deep expertise in SAP BTP security frameworks, SAP Cloud Identity Services, and SAP security best practices including compliance requirements
12. You are experienced in applying security design principles such as least privilege, defense in depth, and segregation of duties
13. You have hands-on experience with Single Sign-On (SSO), federated identity management, and identity providers (e.g., Microsoft Entra ID or SAP Customer Data Cloud)
14. You have proven experience designing and implementing role-based access control concepts in distributed SAP environments and are familiar with security standards such as OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect
15. You understand data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and have experience working in DevOps and Agile environments
16. You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, communicate effectively in international environments, work well under pressure, and have excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken

17. We ensure your financial stability with a competitive salary between 104.300€ and 126.800€ per year (full-time) plus a variable component. Your compensation is based on your qualifications, skills, and professional experience.
