To strengthen our team in Oslo, Norway, we are looking for an Engineering Manager - Mobile App. Role purpose Lead a cross-functional engineering organisation responsible for APCOA’s mobile applications and the supporting backend platform. Translate product priorities into predictable delivery, own technical quality and operational reliability, and develop engineering capability across mobile and platform domains. Key responsibilities Own end-to-end delivery for mobile and backend platform areas: planning, scoping, estimation, and high-quality releases. Translate product roadmaps into executable team plans and realistic delivery milestones. Provide technical leadership: architecture reviews, CI/CD, testing, secure coding, and observability. Hire, coach, and develop engineers and technical leads; run performance and career processes. Coordinate with Product, Platform, Security, and Operations to manage dependencies, risks, and escalations. Own operational readiness and service reliability: SLOs, runbooks, on-call practices, and incident management. Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices, delivery predictability, and technical sustainability. Lead capacity planning and balance delivery, technical debt, and operational obligations. Required qualifications & experience Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience. Minimum 2 years of management experience leading software engineers. Mandatory: proven experience delivering production mobile applications (native or cross-platform). Experience with cloud-hosted backend services and service/API design. Strong people leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills. Desirable Flutter C# / .NET Azure Infrastructure (App Services, AKS, Functions, Storage) GitHub Actions (CI/CD) Skills & competencies Software engineering fundamentals (architecture, testing, observability, security).
