How you will make an impact
* Shape and own the marketing strategy across brand, content, product marketing, and demand generation - helping more businesses around the world discover Payrails
* Build and lead the marketing team, creating a culture that values craft, experimentation, and clear outcomes
* Define how we talk about Payrails from our narrative and messaging to how we show up across channels, events, and conversations
* Work closely with GTM and Product to align go-to-market efforts and ensure we’re telling a cohesive story across every touchpoint
* Launch campaigns that actually move the needle by always testing ideas, learning fast, and scaling what works
* Partner with the founders and leadership team to shape how Payrails grows including market expansion, brand direction, and key launches
What we are looking for
* You bring 10+ years of experience leading marketing functions in fast-growing technology companies, ideally with a mix of brand, content, and demand generation under your belt
* You’re a strong storyteller who can turn complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with enterprise audiences
* You know how to balance strategy with hands-on execution, you're just as comfortable setting the vision as you are writing a brief or jumping into a campaign
* You’re data-aware without being data-paralyzed - you know what to measure, and when to trust your gut
* You’ve led and grown teams, and care about building a culture where people can do their best work
* You’re curious, thoughtful, and excited by the opportunity to help build a category-defining company from the ground up
* You bring effective written and verbal communication skills
