Quality Assurance Specialist (all genders) fixed-term 2 years
As a Quality Assurance Specialist (all genders), you ensure GMP-compliant manufacturing of pharmaceutical products and make a significant contribution to the quality and compliance of modern production processes. Leveraging your pharmaceutical expertise, you work closely with Production, QA, and QC teams to ensure that the highest quality standards are consistently maintained and continuously improved in daily operations.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. You will oversee pharmaceutical production facilities for the manufacture of parenteral products
2. In doing so, you will ensure that manufacturing processes are carried out in accordance with GMP guidelines and recognized pharmaceutical regulations
3. You will regularly create and update pharmaceutical-related documents (e.g., manufacturing instructions in accordance with Section 13 AMWHV, SOPs)
4. In the event of process deviations, you will prepare investigation reports in coordination with QA/QC
5. You will ensure that necessary validations of manufacturing processes are carried out, as well as required initial and ongoing training for production staff (§12 AMWHV), and initiate measures within the scope of Change Control when necessary changes are required
6. You review manufacturing records, handle complaints, and manage the preparation and follow-up of inspections and audits
7. Within the scope of projects and processes, you ensure GMP compliance and optimize it with a view to cost-effectiveness
8. Supervising the practical training of pharmacy interns (§4 AappO) is also part of your responsibilities
WHO YOU ARE
9. You have a degree in pharmacy and are licensed as a pharmacist
10. Ideally, you have gained initial professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry in the areas of manufacturing, testing, and evaluating medicinal products
11. You possess a strong understanding of drug risk assessment as well as national and international regulations (pharmaceutical law) and are confident working in a GMP environment
12. You are proficient in IT systems such as MS Office
13. You have the ability to analyze technical processes, derive targeted measures, and think holistically
14. You possess strong organizational skills and excellent communication skills
15. You are distinguished by leadership qualities such as the ability to work independently, assertiveness, communication skills, flexibility, and resilience
16. You have a strong focus on quality and cost awareness
17. Fluency in German and good written and spoken English round out your profile

The position is a 24-month fixed-term contract.
