About the role
The PMO – Aftermarket & Distribution Readiness Europe ensures that European distribution entities are fully prepared to support new product launches from a service and aftermarket perspective. The PMO acts as across-functional coordinator and governance lead, ensuring accountable functions deliver required outputs before launch gates.
This role does not own operational execution but ensures transparency, alignment, and risk mitigation to protect customer experience and service revenue from Day 1.
Job Description
Aftermarket Launch Governance
1. Define andmaintaina standardized Aftermarket & Distribution Readiness framework
2. Establish clear launch gates and readiness criteria aligned with product milestones
3. Implement structured readiness dashboards and reporting
4. Ensure clear RACI and ownership across functions
5. Escalate risks with mitigation options to European leadership
Service Product Readiness Coordination
6. Ensure all service-related deliverables are defined,validated, and ready before go-live, including:
7. Service offerings & agreements definition
8. Warranty framework alignment
9. Service documentation availability
10. Tooling requirements identification
11. Repair strategy validation
12. Monitor progress, highlight gaps, and drive closure with accountable teams
Systems & Process Readiness
13. Ensure functional teamsvalidate:
14. ERP and master data setup
15. Service and spare parts integration
16. Forecasting integration
17. Order-to-repair process activation
18. Coordinate readiness reviews and go-live validation checkpoints.
19. Parts & Supply Readiness Coordination
20. Training & Capability Readiness
Requirements
21. 5–10years experiencein PMO, Supply Chain, Aftermarket, or Product Launch Management
22. Strong understanding of spare parts management and service operations
23. Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems
24. Experience in a multi-country European environment
25. Strong stakeholder management in matrix organizations
26. Structured, data-driven, risk-oriented mindset
27. Ability tooperateat both strategic and operational levels
