Therapeutic Area Manager (TAM) Hematology (m / f / d)

Reports to the National Sales Lead Germany
The TAM is responsible for the sale and support of Stemline’s current and future products in hematology to both existing and potential customers. The goals of this position are to acquire new customer business, increase market share through acquiring new accounts or expanding business in current customers, develop and encourage strong customer relationships, build brand loyalty, and provide customer satisfaction.
This role offers a high level of autonomy, visibility, and the opportunity to influence Stemline's positioning in Germany.
Responsibilities
1. Identify and define key local prescriber groups relevant for Stemline's in-label products (segmentation / targeting); establish and maintain professional relationships with these prescribers.
2. Collaborate with Medical Affairs to implement disease awareness campaigns within the region, aligned with Stemline’s disease plans.
3. Provide relevant information about Stemline products to ensure their effective and safe usage in appropriate patients, based on clinical data, labels, and prescribing information.
4. Coordinate with local MSLs to plan and execute product support measures, ensuring correct handling and application at prescribing sites.
5. Develop and execute strategic initiatives to promote in-label usage of Stemline's products within the right patient groups, following label and prescribing guidelines (account action plans).
6. Monitor regional performance against targets, analyze variances, and adjust strategies accordingly at the regional and center levels.
7. Support prescribers and centers with ordering and reimbursement processes related to Stemline products, upon request.
8. Ensure compliance with all customer engagement activities according to Stemline's SOPs and local regulations.
Qualifications
1. Minimum 5 years of experience in the (biotechnology) pharmaceutical industry, with at least 3 years in a field-based Key Account Management (KAM) role.
2. Academic background in Life Sciences.
3. Experience in Hematology / Oncology, preferably with Orphan indications.
4. Strong interest and expertise in scientific and clinical aspects, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset and ambition for commercial success.
5. Positive attitude towards benefit and pricing aspects of innovative pharmaceuticals.
6. Basic understanding of local reimbursement mechanisms; willingness to support centers with budget and reimbursement matters.
7. Excellent communication and intellectual skills.
8. Highly self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
9. The role is fully field-based, covering large territories, requiring significant travel and mobility.
10. Languages: German (fluent), English (high level).
