We are seeking a skilled Application Support Specialist to collaborate with our team. This position will be based in Luxembourg, working alongside a prestigious European Institution.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Provide ongoing second-line support for core applications used in correspondence, document management, and content creation.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for the Document Management Unit regarding queries, statistics, and support needs, particularly for the applications migration project.
* Act as a reference point for first-line support, offering guidance and problem resolution.
* Maintain and update support documentation to ensure accuracy and usability.
* Provide Back-Office (BO) reporting for requests exceeding standard application capabilities.
* Act as Person in Charge for dedicated applications, ensuring correct definitions and operational stability for dependent applications.
* Liaise with system administration and database administration teams for execution of administration tasks.
* Data Management:
* Perform data quality checks, including updates and duplicate merges.
* Monitor Scan-2-Application workflows, ensuring daily presence in the office for operational oversight.
* RPA & Automation Support:
* Provide Power Automate RPA support, particularly for access token creation.
* Serve as backup for RPA token creation processes.
* Redevelop Power Automate RPA solutions to ensure compatibility with Windows 11.
* Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in second-line application support, IT service desk, and ticket management.
* Strong knowledge of document management systems and applications.
* Familiarity with RPA tools (Power Automate) and Windows 11 environments.
* Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues, including data integrity, system migrations, and application errors.
* Strong communication skills for coordinating with stakeholders, first-line support, and end-users.
* Ability to work flexibly outside standard hours as required.
* Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
* Capable of performing all IT service desk functions, including PC configuration, application administration, and problem management.
* Fluent in French and English (both written and spoken).
* An ITILV4 certification is a prerequisite (we provide the opportunity to obtain the certification prior to the commencement date).
* Work Environment:
* Office presence required for daily monitoring tasks (Scan-2-Application).
* Occasional extended hours for RPA session support, stakeholder queries, and IT support coverage.
