Job Description
* Firmware Validation Support: You will assist in testing and debugging embedded firmware for RFID systems under the guidance of experienced engineers.
* Hardware Testing & Bring-Up: You will support board-level hardware bring-up, conduct basic troubleshooting, and perform validation tasks.
* Prototype Assembly: You will contribute to mechanical fit checks, assembly validation, and hands-on prototype builds.
* Lab Work: You will operate test equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers to evaluate signal integrity and communication protocols.
* Documentation: You will help document test procedures, findings, and open issues in collaboration with engineering leads.
* Lab Maintenance: You will contribute to organizing the lab space, maintaining test setups, and managing components and equipment.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will work alongside firmware, hardware, and mechanical teams to help resolve technical and integration issues.
Qualifications
* Current Studies: You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
* Basic Programming Skills: You have some experience with embedded C/C++ and microcontroller development (e.g., STM32 is a plus).
* Technical Curiosity: You are eager to deepen your understanding of RFID/NFC technologies and RF signal behavior.
* Hands-On Skills: You are confident performing manual tasks like soldering, basic wiring, and simple mechanical assembly.
* Tool Familiarity: You have basic knowledge of lab instruments (oscilloscope, logic analyzer) and ideally CAD tools (e.g., Altium, SolidWorks, Fusion 360).
* Working Languages: You communicate confidently in both English and German in a technical, team-oriented environment.
* Work Location: You are located within commuting distance to Puchheim and can regularly work on-site in our R&D lab.
