A Snapshot of Your Day As a Project Engineering Manager (f/m/d) at Siemens Energy, you will lead a diverse team of engineering specialists in the engineering of major Power Plant modification and modernization. You will work closely with sales/bid management, project management and customers, to develop a technical contract and then ensuring compliance with the technical contract execution and applicable standards, all contributing to the success of Siemens Energy’s power plant service business.How You’ll Make an Impact
10. Leadership of large-scale power plant engineering projects for adaptation and modernization, including EPC scope, with focus on combined cycle, open cycle, and nuclear plants across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific
11. Responsibility for technical integration of major equipment upgrades, performance improvements, and additional technologies to enhance operational flexibility
12. Technical coordination and management of internal and external stakeholders, including customers, consultants, authorities, suppliers, and third-party contractors
13. Leadership, integration, and development of a multidisciplinary engineering team across mechanical, electrical, process, controls and instrumentation, piping, civil, and plant layout disciplines
14. Definition and coordination of engineering strategies in cooperation with sales, marketing, business development, and project management for complex bids and execution projects
15. Structuring of engineering work packages, interfaces, resource allocation, schedules, and budgets for large and complex power plant projects
What You Bring
16. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
17. Extensive relevant industry experience, including longstandig experience in project engineering or technical project management
18. Strong experience with power plants and equipment, including site and commissioning activities, and a solid understanding of overall plant integration
19. Proven ability to lead and coordinate globally distributed engineering teams and act as the primary technical point of contact for all project stakeholders
20. Strong customer focus combined with the ability to define technical scope, identify risks, and adapt strategies in a dynamic project environment
21. Willingness to travel internationally for limited periods and legal authorization to work in Germany without current or future employer-sponsored visa support
