:What will you work on?
The Sales Assistant actively assists the German Sales team to maximise sales activity in the company’s key customers.
1. Support for the Sales Team: Efficient task processing, documentation, data maintenance.
2. Comprehensive support for the Senior Key Account Manager: Active customer support to ensure customer satisfaction.
3. Interface with internal and external stakeholders: Solution-oriented coordination and collaboration with national and international customers, as well as the Marketing, Logistics, and Finance departments.
4. Customer Relationship Management: Independent handling of inquiries regarding products, prices, delivery times, and complaints.
5. Marketing activities: Support for product training, “Lotteries”, and trade fair appearances (Toy Fair Nuremberg).
6. Product and sales management:Creation of extensive product listings and sales overviews.Compilation of dimensions, images, and relevant data as needed.Procurement of samples/mockups and inventory checks.Timely dispatch of offers and samples.
7. Project management: Participation in smaller projects if interested.

9. Stock controlTo provide a supportive role and a communication link between Stock Control and the Sales Team for all accounts
10. SelectionsProduce quotes, collating dimensions, images, and prices for customers as required.Contact with Finance re: pricing and Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ’s)Compiling of listing sheetsRequesting of Price changes to be set up in the system
11. SamplesWork in conjunction with marketing to get stock, mockups, images and samples to customers

13. To act as a point of contact for the sales team in their absence
14. To undertake any ad hoc duties
15. To undertake any of the above tasks in an appropriately professional and timely manner at all times
How will you fit into the team? The Sales Assistant reports to the Senior National Account Manager
What are your skills and experience?
16. Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role in the CPG or Toy industry preferred.
17. Completed vocational qualification or Degree in Business, Marketing or related area desirable.
18. Retail Experience either at store level or retail planning experience an asset.
19. Customer driven approach and a “go-getter” attitude
20. Ability to build and maintain relationships, both externally and internally
21. Strong Excel skills with demonstrated relevant experience
22. Proficiency in MS Office overall (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
23. Ability to create and maintain business presentations, Excel files, read POS reports
24. Experience in SAP, Salesforce is considered an asset
25. Demonstrated organization, planning and communication skills
26. Fluent in German (written and speaking)
27. Good knowledge of English
