To achieve our goal of becoming the global leader in Language AI, we’re expanding our Solutions Consulting team and seeking a Team Lead, EMEA Solution Consulting to join us in Cologne, Germany. This role leads the enterprise pre-sales and solutions consulting team, partnering with Sales, Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to drive customer value and adoption.


Responsibilities

* Lead, coach, and manage a growing team of Solutions Consultants for the enterprise customer segment.
* Be a high-energy, strategic, coaching-focused leader responsible for the professional growth and development of your team.
* Develop a collaborative, results-driven team culture that enables individuals to thrive and customers to realize the value of DeepL.
* Build strong cross-functional relationships with Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Support, and Finance to stay ahead of product innovations and guide your team through complex sales cycles.
* Refine and champion best practices for demos, technical assessments, and workshops, while advocating for customer needs to support DeepL’s mission and market expansion.


Qualifications

* Demonstrated experience leading teams (at least 2+ years) in pre-sales engineering, solution consulting, or related customer-facing technical roles.
* 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Solutions Consultant, Sales Engineer, or equivalent in the SaaS industry.
* Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing teams.
* Strong customer empathy and passion for revenue growth, with deep knowledge of enterprise technology solutions.
* Outstanding leadership, collaboration, and a commitment to continuous learning.
* Excellent communication skills across mediums and stakeholder groups, with ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
* Strong strategic thinking and project management, using data and intuition to solve problems.
* Enthusiastic, creative leader who is hungry to grow and to inspire others.
* Passion for solutions consulting, technology innovation, and overcoming language barriers globally.
* Experience with Salesforce or related CRM tools is preferred.
* Fluency in German and English is required; additional languages (French, Spanish, Japanese) are a plus.
