Job Description

insightsoftware is looking for a Solutions Engineer to join one of our EMEA pre-sales teams. Within the role, you will be responsible for:

2. Applying and demonstrating insightsoftware solutions to potential customers
3. Creating and improving demo content for live presentations and recordings
4. Supporting the sales team in developing positive, effective relationships with potential customers and internal departments to ensure that potential customer expectations are exceeded
5. Ensuring that Salesforce is properly completed by the entire team and provides statistics on key metrics
6. Collaborating with the sales team to answer technical and functional software questions from potential customers
7. Conducting discovery conversations with potential customers to comprehensively and accurately understand their challenges
8. Staying up-to-date on new product features and their proper usage
9. Presenting relevant and helpful demonstrations of all insightsoftware solutions, depending on where potential customers' needs lie
10. Assisting with completing and reviewing requests for proposals and information (RFPs and RFIs)
11. Providing and reviewing best practices for insightsoftware, use cases, and customer stories internally and externally to help potential customers with advanced use of application features
12. Training prospects and customers through webinars, on-site training, presentations, and trial versions
13. Preparing and conducting effective customer-specific demonstrations using potential customer data
14. Providing information, training, and application-related knowledge by participating in customer/prospect roundtables, conferences, and other events
15. Documenting relevant activities in Salesforce and other assigned tools
16. Up to 30% travel across the DACH region

Qualifications

17. Extensive experience in planning and budgeting within Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) is the most important requirement
18. Past experience as a Solutions Engineer at enterprise level or hands-on experience as an FP&A Manager
19. Past experience with financial software, statutory consolidation and/or disclosure management is advantageous
20. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting, economics, or business administration
21. Experience in creating and presenting compelling presentations
22. Proven ability to understand and address potential customer objections
23. Strong ability to align product features with potential customers' business requirements
24. Demonstrated integrity, trustworthiness, and good judgment

Technical Skills

25. Understanding requirements for planning, financial reporting, and month-end reporting
26. Understanding Enterprise Resource Planning from a functional perspective
27. Familiarity with advanced Excel capabilities and functions
28. Past experience with insightsoftware's product suite is a plus

34. Strong ability to demonstrate and persuade by using your skills to influence and advise potential customers
35. Proven ability to build relationships and trust with prospects/customers
