**Regulation Management Expert Role**
Job Description
As a Regulation Management Expert, you will play a key role in developing and implementing tariff structures that align with changing regulatory frameworks. You will be responsible for calculating grid usage tariffs, compensation payments, and other economic analyses to ensure the efficient operation of regulated sectors.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing new tariff structures in regulated sectors following changes in national and European legislative and regulatory frameworks.
* Calculating grid usage tariffs based on maximum allowed revenues and received load curves, as well as incidental tariffs for regulated gas and electricity activities considering adjustments by tariff category.
* Preparing and calculating compensation payments for revenue equalization in the electricity sector and initiating transfers between network operators.
* Supporting the grid usage and tariff expert in simulation activities by checking input data, critically reviewing results using a data-driven approach, and contributing to the continuous refinement of simulation models and methodologies.
* Contributing to tariff discussions with energy stakeholders (electricity, gas, and hydrogen).
* Supporting the development of tariff mechanisms that incentivize the integration of renewable energy sources, storage systems, and flexibility solutions into the grid.
* Acting as a backup representative for various European organizations such as ENTSO-E, ENTSO-G, Eurelectric, and the EU DSO Entity, particularly in matters related to tariff design and regulation.
* Establishing various economic analyses and simulations in the field of regulated tariffs, comparing tariff structures in Europe.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A university degree in Engineering, Finance, or an equivalent field.
* Strong analytical skills and a high level of engagement and initiative.
* Ability to manage change effectively.
* Good understanding of structures, policies, and regulatory frameworks of the energy market.
* Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, French, or German, with Luxembourgish language proficiency considered an advantage.
