Exciting Indirect / IT Buyer opportunity with an Automotive leader.
Responsibilities:
* Execution of strategic and operational procurement with a focus on indirect services (e.g., engineering services, IT, facility management, marketing) and indirect materials.
* Planning, management and execution of tenders including analysis and evaluation of bids
* Independent price and contract negotiations with suppliers
* Identification and implementation of savings potential for sustainable cost optimisation
* Selection, qualification and further development of suppliers
* Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines as well as relevant compliance and procurement regulations.
* Close collaboration with internal departments to ensure a clear, complete and needs-based specification of requirements.
* Monitoring of delivery dates, contract terms and service levels
* Maintenance and management of purchasing and supplier master data in ERP systems (SAP, Coupa)
* Building and maintaining long-term, collaborative supplier relationships
* Support in optimising purchasing processes and in cross-departmental projects
Qualifications:
* Successfully completed commercial training or a degree with a focus on purchasing, materials management or similar.
* Experience in the automotive sector or in a comparable industrial context
* Knowledge of relevant standards and norms (e.g. ISO, ASPICE, TISAX)
* Several years of professional experience in purchasing, ideally in an indirect procurement environment
* Sound knowledge of contract law and professional supplier management
* Proficient use of ERP systems, preferably SAP and/or Coupa
* Excellent MS Office skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
* Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written (B2 level)
* Excellent negotiation skills combined with assertiveness
