Research Scientist - Blockchain Analytics
The role of Research Scientist - Blockchain Analytics involves conducting interdisciplinary research on crypto-asset analytics and financial crime prevention.
You will analyse blockchain data and develop innovative analytics methods to contribute to the understanding of illicit financial flows in the crypto-asset ecosystem.
Key tasks include:
* Conducting research on crypto-asset transaction analysis at the intersection of data science, blockchain technology, and financial crime prevention.
* Analysing blockchain data and developing strategies to improve the design of public-private cooperation in crypto-asset compliance and supervision.
* Disseminating results through scientific publications in outlets at the intersection between information systems and computer science.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science/Data Analytics, Mathematics, Information Systems (Engineering) or related disciplines.
Strong programming skills in at least one relevant language are essential, along with experience with data analysis, statistical modelling, or machine learning techniques.
Familiarity with handling large datasets and data pipelines is also required, as well as the ability to work with data visualisation tools to communicate findings clearly.
English-language proficiency for both written and verbal communication is necessary, although knowledge of French, German and/or Luxembourgish is not required.
