What is the opportunity?This is an excellent opportunity to join the constantly growing German country coverage team of a Top 10 Global Investment Bank as an Analyst. In this role you will be able to get experience across sectors and different investment products with a strong focus on M&A. RBC works on high profile transactions primarily for large cap corporates and financial sponsors. As an incoming Investment Banking Analyst; you will join a training program in London where you will receive an in-depth education to learn the fundamentals of the Analyst role. This covers accounting, valuation, advanced modelling, analytical tools, and financial products. Our analytical focus and cross border collaboration will enable incoming Analysts to experience a strong learning curve.What will you do?
1. Assist in execution of mandated deals
2. Create financial model analyses
3. Gather public information through numerous sources
4. Analyse company performance on an absolute and relative basis
5. Assist in preparation of marketing pitch books and related materials
What do you need to succeed?
6. You are in your final year of university or have graduated in a business administration, economics or related discipline
7. Previous advisory experience (Investment Banking / Private Equity / Financial Services Firms), including internships
8. First transaction experience and an understanding of the valuation approaches typically used in the industry
9. Fluency in German and English
