About the company

Responsibilities
2. Primary responsibility for operational and strategic controlling, including management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
3. In-depth analysis and steering of cost structures, margins, and profitability in close cooperation with operations and production
4. Development and continuous enhancement of KPIs, performance metrics, and management dashboards as key management steering tools
5. Preparation of decision-ready financial analyses, business cases, and investment calculations for senior management
6. Active contribution to the optimization and standardization of controlling processes, systems and data quality
7. Audit-related responsibilities focus on leveraging audit expertise to ensure transparency, compliance and high-quality financial information; direct audit execution is not the core focus
8. Use of Big-4 audit know-how to act as a challenging sparring partner for internal stakeholders and external auditors
Profile
9. University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field
10. Professional experience in Audit, ideally within a Big-4 environment, combined with proven, hands-on Controlling experience (mandatory)
11. Solid practical exposure to controlling tasks ( via industry secondments, controlling-related audit mandates, or direct industry roles)
12. Strong knowledge of HGB; basic IFRS knowledge desirable
13. In-depth understanding of industrial production processes, cost structures, and performance drivers
14. Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills; SAP FI/CO is a strong advantage
15. Initial leadership experience or responsibility for workstreams/projects
16. Strong analytical and structured mindset
17. High business and financial acumen
18. Confident communicator with senior-level stakeholders
19. Hands-on mentality, ownership, and strong quality focus
20. Fluent in German and English

Salary information
28. Annual gross salary: EUR 70,000 – 80,000, depending on experience and qualification.
