About the Company

We are embarking on a major digital transformation programme aimed at modernising and optimising our global logistics, warehousing, procurement, and order-to-cash operations through SAP S/4HANA. To support this strategic initiative, we are seeking an experienced Director SAP Logistics Transformation to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our SAP logistics landscape.

The Role

As Director SAP Logistics Transformation, you will be responsible for defining and executing the SAP logistics strategy across the organisation. You will lead large-scale SAP transformation initiatives, manage internal and external stakeholders, and ensure that technology investments deliver measurable business

value. You will act as the key link between business leadership, operational teams, and technology partners, driving best-practice processes and scalable SAP solutions across logistics and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive the SAP Logistics and Supply Chain roadmap aligned with business strategy.
• Lead enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes.
• Manage SAP logistics workstreams including:
• SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)
• SAP Transportation Management (TM)
• SAP Materials Management (MM)
• SAP Sales & Distribution (SD)
• Define future-state business processes and operating models.
• Partner with business stakeholders across Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Warehousing, and Customer Operations.
• Lead global SAP implementation, rollout, optimisation, and integration projects.
• Manage relationships with system integrators, SAP consulting partners, and software vendors.
• Build and lead high-performing SAP teams including internal resources and external partners.
• Ensure governance, project delivery excellence, budget control, and risk management.
• Drive innovation across automation, analytics, AI, and digital supply chain capabilities.
• Support executive leadership with strategic recommendations and transformation

Required Experience

• 10+ years of SAP experience within logistics, supply chain, or enterprise transformation environments.
• Significant experience leading large SAP transformation programmes.
• Deep expertise in:
• SAP EWM
• SAP TM
• SAP MM
• SAP SD
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and modern SAP architecture.
• Experience working within complex international organisations.
• Proven track record managing large-scale implementation partners and consulting teams.
• Experience developing SAP roadmaps and transformation strategies.
• Strong understanding of logistics, warehousing, transportation, procurement, and order management processes.
• Experience managing multimillion-euro transformation budgets.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• End-user / industry experience within manufacturing, retail, consumer goods, logistics, distribution, or e-commerce.
• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Knowledge of SAP IBP, SAP Analytics Cloud, or SAP Datasphere.
• Exposure to automation, AI, and digital supply chain technologies.
• Experience in global template rollouts and international programme delivery.
