Right now, we are seeking highly qualified candidates to fill the position: Country Medical Channel Content Lead - Germany (m/f/d) About the role: The International Medical Channel Content (MCC) team is part of the Global Medical Engagement and Impact (MEI) platform within the Global Chief Medical Affairs (CMAO) Office. The International MCC team drives local medical channel content strategy across the Oncology, Primary Care, Specialty Care, and Vaccines portfolio across our International Division. The team aligns closely with the Global & US Medical Channel Content Teams and other key cross-functional partners to conceptualize, adapt/develop, and disseminate all ex-US medical content through publications, congresses, medical-to-medical interactions, digital channels, and other newly prioritized internal and external ex-US specific medical channels. The Country Medical Channel Content (MCC) Lead will; Partner with Country Medical Director/s/Country Category Medical Leads to identify content/channel priorities and then build and execute semester plans across Pfizer medicines and therapeutic areas within ex-US countries/regions, to optimize the engagement and reach of emerging scientific information to address identified care gaps. Use strategic thinking and data driven insights to execute medical content, using innovative ideas and ensuring strategic alignment to global plans. Share priority market needs with International Medical Category Leads and Global Content Team to act as the voice of the country in global content releases as well as manage new local content requests, share best practice between countries and drive standardization. Where designated, will lead, manage and develop the aligned Country MCC Managers for assigned country/ies. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and represent the MCC function for their assigned country/ies at the global level within the MEI and Medical Categories. Partner with International Category Medical Leads and the Global Medical Content team to ensure priority market content needs are included as part of the global plans. Partner with Global Medical Channel Excellence Team to support activation and optimization of relevant medical channels in country. Partner with Field Medical Excellence to ensure all content for field medical colleagues is pulled through from the global team. Partner with Medical Analytics group to measure the impact of all country medical channel content initiatives and share learnings in-country and across International Content Team Lead the creation and adaptation of medical channel content in assigned country/ies across the Pfizer portfolio providing functional and subject matter expertise. Partner with in-country medical leadership team/s for prioritized markets across the International Division (eg. Germany, France, China, Japan, IDM and EM country clusters) to design and deliver local medical channel content strategies to optimize the engagement and reach of emerging Pfizer scientific data to address care gaps across our portfolio. Lead the Global to local, localization and adaption of priority global medical content assets to support critical scientific data releases for assigned country/ies. Manage all country medical content requests, identifying opportunities for re-use and then managing demand for in-house and external content creation resources. Lead and manage the MCC Content Managers aligned to their country/cluster to ensure the efficient delivery of country/ies content plans on time and to a high quality. Recognizes and nurtures talent and supports the development needs for colleagues, creating development opportunities within the MEI platform and other parts of the organization. Provide leadership and guidance to colleagues on relevant Pfizer SOPs and guidance documents. Lead, inspire and embed the transformation & new ways of working for the International MCC Team, as a part of the MEI platform. Lead the in-country implementation of the new medical channel content operating model and ways of working to enable medical to communicate a consistent global scientific narrative across our portfolio that can address care gaps with speed, efficiency and scale. Strives for continuous improvements in our operating model, champions innovation and establishes new projects and ways of working that advance the vision of the MEI platform within medical affairs, ensuring integrity, performance, and teamwork. About you: Advanced scientific/healthcare degree required (MD, PharmD, PhD, MS, MSc) Extensive experience in the healthcare/pharmaceutical sector Skills & capabilities Proven leadership skills, including leadership across the matrix. Proven ability to influence without authority. Excellent collaboration and communications skills. Ability to operate with ambiguity, forging new ways forward. Mindset of continuous improvement, using data to inform strategy and decision making. Excellent understanding of the changing healthcare environment and the rapid advancement of digital technology in healthcare and medical communications. Strategic thinker with excellent prioritisation and time management ability.
