Airbus Operations in Hamburg is looking for two
Procurement Contract Experts (d/f/m).
You will join a team of 18 contracts managers located in France, UK, Germany and Portugal, supporting three Procurement commodities ( Equipment & Systems, Cabin and Propulsion) working for all Airbus European programs. You will work on a cross-functional and cross-country basis.
We as a team are providing contractual expertise to buyers in the negotiation of procurement agreements (confidentiality agreement, bailment agreement, complex financial deals, settlement agreements etc), through direct involvement with suppliers and/or back-office support.

Your tasks and responsibilities
* Providing support and advice in Call for Tenders by approving the contractual baseline, assessing the contractual elements of bids, preparing/supporting the negotiations and overseeing the awards
* Advising internal stakeholders on the contractual implications of planned supplier initiatives (e.g. confidentiality or intellectual property aspects)
* Drafting of ad hoc contractual documents together with the buyers
* Approving contractual documentation prior to final signature to ensure that all risks and deviations are suitably highlighted
* Providing contractual analysis and expertise during the contract life cycle (e.g to support claim process or pre-litigation proceedings, termination of contract or assignment etc..)
* Ensuring the relevance, quality and consistency of negotiated contractual documents, including compliance with applicable laws, regulations and Airbus business requirements
* Identifying key contractual risks for review / validation with stakeholders
* Contributing to defining ways of working, tools, business models, contract templates
* Actively involved in the definition of new business models and commodity strategies
* Developing new and / or enhancing existing training and awareness
* Coaching and on-the-job upskilling to grow contractual competences within Procurement
Desired skills and qualifications
* Legal background or experienced buyer / experienced contract negotiator (in either procurement or sales)
* Several years of relevant work experience
* Open-minded, self-motivated, team-player
* Can Do" attitude and enjoy finding solutions to contractual issues / challenges
* Customer oriented, able to break-down and explain complex topics to a variety of stakeholders
* Pragmatic, able to balance contractual and business risks, priorities, oversights and compliance; securing Airbus interests and derisking business
* Willing to take on big and small tasks, ranging from operational support to strategic projects
* English fluent; other languages would be a plus
This role will involve some occasional travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
