* Manage cost control processes: budget setup, cost forecasting, earned value analysis, and cost performance reporting.
* Monitor and analyze project progress and variances; provide accurate status reports and performance metrics to internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Establish and oversee robust change control and risk management procedures, including qualitative and quantitative risk analysis.
* Support procurement and contract teams with schedule and cost input during tendering and negotiation phases.
* Interface with project managers, engineers, clients, and external partners to ensure alignment on scope, time, and financial targets.
* Lead and mentor a team of planners, cost engineers, and reporting analysts.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
* Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
* 8+ years of experience in project controls, with at least 3+ years in a lead or managerial role.
* Proven experience in major energy or infrastructure projects (e.g., power generation, renewables, transmission, or utilities).
* Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel.
* Strong command of Earned Value Management (EVM), risk analysis techniques, and project reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, EcoSys).
* Knowledge of FIDIC, NEC, or other relevant contract frameworks.
* Fluent in English; German language skills are a strong advantage but not mandatory.
Preferred Attributes:
* Certifications such as PMP, AACE CCP, or PRINCE2.
* Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, especially in multinational environments.
* Experience working in consultancy, EPC, or owner-side project delivery environments.
* Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
