Our client, a leading player in the machinery industry, is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth and strengthen relationships with their most important strategic customers throughout Germany.
Your Responsibilities:
* Develop, maintain, and strengthen long-term partnerships with key accounts.
* Take responsibility for achieving sales and profitability targets within your portfolio.
* Identify and win new strategic customers while expanding opportunities within existing accounts.
* Lead contract and pricing negotiations, manage projects, and ensure smooth implementation.
* Monitor market trends and competitive activities to anticipate changes and initiate the right measures.
* Work closely with sales, service, product management, and marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions for your accounts
* Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
* Provide regular updates on account performance, project progress, and target achievement.
Your Profile:
* A commercial or technical background, ideally supported by a relevant degree, with several years of experience in B2B sales or strategic account management.
* Demonstrated success in managing and expanding key client relationships.
* Solid experience in contract negotiations, strategic account planning, and project oversight.
* Willingness to travel across Germany as needed.
* Strong technical understanding and a genuine interest in machinery or industrial equipment.
* Self-motivated, organized, and solutions-oriented approach to work.
* Fluent in German with good command of English.
