The IT Compliance & Enterprise Architecture team governs and safeguards AllianzGI’s IT with the aim to reduce operational and regulatory risk and to keep the enterprise architecture landscape scalable and simplified.
The Enterprise Architecture practice builds and fosters a community of architects, increases standardisation, owns, and manages the central architecture repositories. The team acts as a strong link between the 1st and 2nd line of defence as well as the Agile Areas. As an Enterprise Architect (f/m/d), you will report directly to the Head of IT Compliance & Enterprise Architecture and be part of the Enterprise Services Function in the COO division. This position is based in Frankfurt.
What You Will Do
* Govern the Enterprise Architecture framework and own the policies, guidelines and procedures, definition of roles & responsibilities and reporting to senior management.
* Establish and lead the Architecture Community of Practice that serves as the central forum for the professional exchange between Area Architects and Solution Architects, ensuring cohesive and aligned architectural practices and solutions.
* Drive application and technology simplification by securing buy‑in of the business functions and providing transparent benefit reporting.
* Own and manage Allianz Global Investors’ Information Domain in line with regulatory requirements stemming from DORA.
* Support the Head of IT Compliance & Enterprise Architecture in managing the Allianz Group Standards alignment process.
Required
* Excellent university degree in IT or a related field of study.
* Proven experience in Enterprise Architecture, preferably within the financial services or asset‑management industry.
* Experience running (international) projects or programs and introducing and leading change.
* A proactive and client‑centric approach, combining diplomacy and assertiveness.
* Excellent communication skills for conveying impactful recommendations to senior management and partners.
* Ability to collaborate and work effectively with various teams.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Fluency in English, written and spoken.
Preferred
* Experience in designing and/or maintaining an Information Domain as required by DORA (and formerly KAIT/BAIT/VAIT).
* Deep knowledge of national and international regulatory IT requirements in the financial services industry.
* Expertise in analysing, implementing, and supervising regulatory requirements in the IT control system.
* Relevant certifications such as TOGAF or similar are a plus.
* Additional languages would be highly beneficial.
* Experience with Data Analytics/Data Integration.
