About the role:
You will report to the Manager, Computer Aided Engineering and be located at Mannheim
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support offers with concept designs in plant layout
2. Organize and support 3D design reviews
3. E3D Catalog Software (AVEVA)
4. Create E3D catalog elements with parameter for Company and project use
5. Create pipe-, steel-, structure- catalog parts, Bolt specs, fitting elements and more
6. Develop solutions for vendor catalog addons or extensions
7. Resolve problems and failures from catalog parts
8. E3D Software (AVEVA) – 2D- Drafter
9. 2D- Drafter for several types of plant layout drawings, general layout drawing, detail layout drawing, pipe isometric drawing
10. Develop experience to train employees on new technologies
Qualifications:
11. 3+ years of experience in plant layout engineering / design
12. AVEVA certificates of DESIGN, Catalogue work (E3D) if available.
13. Basic skills in programming
14. Very good English language skills, Proficient in German
15. Open communication to the team members.
