Responsibilities
 * Modelling nuclear well logging tools.
 * Developing corrections, calibration procedures, and interpretation charts for the probes.
 * Supporting clients with the interpretation of measurement results and campaigns.
 * Planning and conducting measurement campaigns in the internal test center.
 * Verifying model results and calculations through measurements.
 * Developing and improving existing algorithms and models.
 * Supporting radiation protection duties.
Required Qualifications
 * Master's degree or equivalent in physics, geoscience, petrophysics or similar.
 * Excellent understanding of neutron and gamma radiation physics.
 * Experience in numerical simulation (Monte Carlo simulations).
 * Programming skills (preferably in MATLAB).
 * Experience in the numerical analysis of measurement data.
 * Very good technical understanding, including interpreting technical drawings and design templates.
 * Independent and results-oriented work style.
 * Excellent English language skills
 * Basic German language skills
Preferred Qualifications
 * Proficient in using MCNP, especially MCNP5 1.60.
 * Experience in modelling and designing nuclear wellbore probes.
 * Experience in interpreting cased-hole measurements from nuclear wellbore probes.
 * Experience in radiation protection with expertise according to 2.3, 6.3, and SEWD guidelines.
