Our Munich engineering team develops mixed‑signal and IO solutions for next‑generation memory technologies. The group partners closely with global analog, digital, and product teams throughout the design and silicon lifecycle.
Role Overview
We are hiring an IO Design Architect todesignnewarchitecture, analysis, and validation of high‑speed memory IO. This role combines hands‑on circuit understanding with system‑level thinking and close collaboration across multiple design teams.
Responsibilities
1. Defineand own theIO and PHY concepts for high‑speed memory interfaces
2. Perform block‑level simulation, analysis, and feasibility checks
3. Review and guide schematic‑level implementation to align with architectural intent
4. Support verification, siliconbring‑up, and debug activities
5. Collaborate with global cross‑functional teams to ensureaccuratesystem integration
6. Use automation and AI‑based tools to improve modeling and analysis workflows
Required Qualifications
7. Minimum 10yearsofexperiencedesigning mixed‑signalIO blocks, includingschematic design and simulation
8. ProficiencywithSPICEor similar circuit simulation tools
9. Hands‑on experience withCadence or Synopsys schematic entry environments
10. Ability to understand, model, and evaluate block‑level behavior
11. Experience working in Unix/Linux environments
Preferred Qualifications
12. Scripting skills (Python, TCL, SKILL, Perl or similar) for analysis or automation
13. Familiarity with extraction and modeling tools
14. Experience collaborating with cross‑functional design teams in a semiconductor environment
