Responsibilities
1. You support the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
2. Your are independently responsible for the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports for selected companies of the EagleBurgmann Group
3. You are responsible for intercompany and netting reconciliations for the German companies
4. As a process expert for intercompany accounting, you will continuously develop existing processes and tools
5. For the debit-side order-to-cash process, you will support our Shared Service Center in the processing of special topics and account clarifications
6. You will post withholding tax and trade tax matters and process individual tax matters in close cooperation with the central tax department
7. You manage and support projects in your area of responsibility
8. You keep process documentations and process flow charts as well as internal controls in your area of responsibility up to date on an ongoing basis
9. You will support the global process owner in the continuous development of processes and tools
Qualifications
10. Several years of specialized professional experience in operational accounting
11. Strong understanding of operational accounting processes - especially in the areas of order-to-cash and intercompany accounting
12. Very good SAP (FI/CO) knowledge - ideally SAP S/4 HANA
13. Experience in the implementation and support of accounting-related projects
14. Independent and autonomous way of working
15. Structured, solution-oriented and reliable way of working
16. Very good knowledge of the MS Office tools Excel, Word, Powerpoint
17. Fluent in written and spoken German and English
