 
        
        Sales Role Overview:
The successful Freight Sales Professional will focus on expanding existing customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Meet sales targets through proactive engagement with customers, developing strong relationships and identifying new business prospects.
 * Negotiate volume and rate agreements with existing and new customers, adhering to established processes and standards.
 * Act proactively on daily cargo needs, monitoring quotation success ratios and liaising with the Inhouse Sales Manager.
 * Ensure customer awareness of freight network, products, value-added services, and opportunities through regular communication.
 * Plan and execute periodic customer visits, using CRM reporting to track progress.
 * Promote digital sales channels and set targets for improvement.
Customer Portfolio Management:
The Freight Sales Professional will be responsible for optimizing business performance by:
 * Preparing sales growth plans for discussion with the Sales Manager.
 * Ensuring compliance with established sales processes and SOPs.
 * Structurally measuring customer performance and holding right-sizing discussions.
Essential Requirements:
 * Apprenticeship or Bachelor's degree in logistics required.
 * At least 2 years of proven sales experience.
 * Good knowledge of the logistic market.
 * Responsible, reliable, and strong communication skills.
 * Fluent in German and English.
 * Passionate about air freight and eager to take on responsibilities.
