A Day in the Life
• Apply your expertise in software verification techniques for medical or regulated systems.
• Develop test strategies, create manual or automated tests, troubleshoot defects, and participate in release activities.
• Collaborate with an Agile Scrum team to verify control software for robotic subsystems.
• Develop automated and manual tests for embedded real-time platforms and control software of surgical instruments.
• Support electromechanical verification of surgical instruments and control software.
• Train junior engineers and share knowledge regularly.
Must Haves
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related field with ≥4 years of experience, or Master’s Degree with ≥2 years of experience.
• Proficiency in Python or C++, and MATLAB and/or Simulink.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Professional-level English skills.
Nice to Haves
• Experience with Medical Product verification and FDA guidance.
• Knowledge of creating test protocols for software requirements.
• Experience with manual and automated test development.
• Testing medical devices controlled by software.
• Managing multiple hardware/software configurations.
