Responsibilities
1. Design and implement integration solutions using MuleSoft Platform to connect the Learning Experience Platform (LXP) with HR systems and external learning providers
2. Take end-to-end ownership of integration solutions — define specifications, guide designs, take architectural decisions, perform unit tests, and ensure successful go-live
3. Ensure integration landscapes align with enterprise standards and the long term platform roadmap
4. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate business needs into technical integration requirements
5. Monitor and analyze integration performance, support troubleshooting, and continuous optimization
6. Produce clear documentation of integration flows, decisions, and processes
7. Embed security, privacy, and compliance considerations into all integration activities
Profile
8. Experience as a Java Architect with profound Java knowledge
9. Extensive knowledge of the Mulesoft integration platform. Certification ( Mulesoft Certified Developer) is a plus
10. Strong understanding of system integration concepts, API management, and modern integration patterns
11. Experience designing or supporting integration solutions using REST, SOAP, or event driven architectures
12. Familiarity with API testing tools and automated testing practices (, API test suites, CI/CD pipelines)
13. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non technical teams, managing dependencies, and ensuring transparent status reporting
14. Languages: English (fluent), German (good knowledge)
