We are expanding our Verification & Validation V&V) capabilities by rolling out a modern SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) and HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) test environment across multiple automotive product lines (e.g., IVI, Central Compute, TCU, Amplifiers/Boosters). In addition, we are introducing AI-supported automation to accelerate test case generation, test planning, and reporting.
As a Working Student / Intern, you will support the setup, operation, and continuous improvement of our HIL/SIL ecosystem and contribute to AI-driven test automation initiatives—while also helping drive the rollout with strong project management support.
What You Will Do
1. Support the rollout and standardization of HIL/SIL environments (processes, templates, documentation)
2. Assist in test automation enablement: executing test runs, collecting results, improving repeatability
3. Support CI/CD integration (e.g., Jenkins pipelines for automated build/test/reporting)
4. Contribute to test reporting (KPIs, dashboards, automated reports; e.g., JUnit-compatible outputs)
5. Help improve test management & traceability (test plans, linking tests to requirements, ALM integration support)
AI-enabled test acceleration (core add-on):
6. Support automated test case generation using AI, e.g.converting requirements / user stories / interface specs into structured test casesgenerating test steps, boundary cases, negative tests, and parameter variationsproposing coverage improvements (risk-based and regression-focused)
7. Assist in building/maintaining prompt templates, guidelines, and quality checks for AI-generated test artifacts
8. Help validate AI-generated test cases by running them on SIL/HIL setups and comparing expected vs actual behavior
9. Support AI-assisted analysis of test logs and failures (basic clustering, triage support, reporting improvements)
Project management support (added):
10. Maintain and update rollout plans, timelines, and action lists (e.g., Jira/Confluence or similar)
11. Support preparation and follow-up of workshops, stakeholder meetings, and status reviews
12. Track risks, dependencies, and open points across toolchain, infrastructure, and teams
13. Create clear status reporting (progress, blockers, next steps) for engineering and management audiences
