Responsibilities
1. Become expertly familiar with CellScape workflow and hardware.
2. Routinely conduct experiments as part of innovation and R&D product development agendas.
3. Perform experiments needed for hardware testing and workflow improvement related to multiplex immunofluorescence staining on the CellScape platform.
4. Serve as point of contact for field teams and participate in occasional instrument installations.
5. Collaborate with software team for software testing during instrument development and sustaining.
6. Tissue preparation, including sectioning (FFPE and cryosectioning).
7. Establish and write documentation, SOPs and protocols related to CellScape hardware maintenance and workflow execution.
8. Perform lab experiments according to protocols and SOPs including documentation.
9. Maintains laboratory notebooks, SOP documents and computer databases.
10. Assist with analyzing data.
Qualifications
11. Completed vocational training as BTA/CTA/MTA or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Optics or related field.
12. Minimum of 3 years lab experience in microscopy field or Optics.
13. Experience in testing microscope hardware and microscope calibration is preferred.
14. Programing skills are preferred.
15. Experience to process tissue including sectioning and fixation.
16. Demonstrated ability to learn and perform new protocols with minimal supervision.
17. Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented setting.
18. Capable of independent planning, evaluation and presentation of experiments and data.
19. Strong problem-solving skills.
20. A passion for working with new technologies.
21. A permanent working permit for Germany is necessary.
