Frankfurt International School in Oberursel is looking for an organized, engaged and motivated Manager of Community Relations and Events ( part-time, 50%) to coordinate and implement events for the school community and build community and cooperation among the school's key organisations and groups, including but not limited to the Advisory Council, PTG, ABC and SPA. The position is available as of 1 December 2025. Applicants should hold a valid work and residence permit for Germany. Qualifications/Experience required: Strong organizational skills with background in event management Ability to establish and cultivate community contacts (current contacts preferred) Fluency in English and German in written and spoken form Excellent interpersonal skills Keen organisational and networking abilities Available for occasional evening and weekend work to support school events Performance Responsibilities: The duties of the position will include but will not be limited to the following: Together with the Head of School, develops and supports on-campus community relationships Ensures strong stewardship of important contacts and existing "friends" of FIS Provides ongoing support to the PTG, SPA and ABC and oversight for FIS volunteerism Coordinates school-wide, PTG and public events with the FIS Calendar Commitee Oversees all events produced by the Department of Admissions and Advancement and ensures they are of the highest possible standard Actively supports the work of the other members of the Department of Admissions and Advancement Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions and Advancement and Head of School Questions about this position can be sent to the Director of Admissions and Advancement, Alec Aspinwall at alec_aspinwall@fis.edu
