We are looking for a Portfolio & Capacity Manager %) for our headquarters in Basel, to start immediately or by agreement.
The Project Portfolio Management team plans, analyses and monitors Herzog & de Meuron's international project portfolio and is responsible for capacity and resource planning. It supports the company in achieving its strategic and operational goals. As an independent business unit, it reports directly to the CEO and works hand in hand with the Business Development, Human Resources, Finance and Legal departments.
Your tasks:
In strategic portfolio management:
* Supporting strategic initiatives
* Staffing levels
* Analyses and scenarios
In operational portfolio management:
* Monitoring the portfolio, analysing, evaluating and commenting on the portfolio's key performance indicators (KPIs)
* Reporting, proposing measures in the event of deviations from targets
* Conducting regular meetings with project managers, obtaining project reports, risk analyses or peer reviews, and periodically reviewing project budgets and planned values
* Supporting deployment and workplace planning
* Creating reports and dashboards with recommendations for action for the attention of the CEO/management
Your profile:
* Master's degree in Architecture / Engineering or business-related fields
* Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
* Strategic and analytical mindset, organisational skills with complex interfaces and problem-solving mindset
* Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) is an advantage
* Good communication skills, in particular very good English and German language skills
* Resilient, practical and persuasive personality
