Senior Manager eBay Consumer to Consumer (f/m/d)
About The Team
We are currently looking for a Senior Manager C2C who will be responsible for leading and developing multiple cross-functional projects within the consumer selling team. You will join a highly energized team with a strong passion for eBay and a shared ambition to take consumer selling on eBay.de to the next level. Consumer selling is deeply rooted in eBay’s DNA and remains an essential part of the company’s ecosystem. You will help develop the strategy for consumer selling by demonstrating consumer insights and crafting initiatives to solve customer problems.
Responsibilities
The role focuses on business development topics ranging from strategy presentations and arguments to performance deep-dives and alignment with stakeholders (Insights, Analytics, Marketing, Strategy, Risk, Trust, Regulatory, Product Engagement) across business development projects, as well as quarterly planning and performance steering. It also includes end-to-end ownership for key strategic projects and initiatives.
Tasks include:
1. Business Development (concept development, arguments, and implementation of strategic focus projects across seller acquisition, reactivation, engagement, retention, seller-buyer flywheel, monetization, risk and trust, payments, shipping, etc.)
2. End-to-end ownership of major strategic projects, including strategy, argument, narrative, BRDs, collaborator management, day-to-day operations, steering, and project management
3. Point of contact for Analytics, Finance, and Customer Insights and others
Requirements
4. Enthusiasm for consumer sales and purchases
5. 7+ years of proven experience in Business Development and/or as a Project Manager/Consultant
6. Ability to think conceptually and strategically while driving and responding tactically to business performance
7. Strong analytical skills and structured thinking
8. Extensive experience leading complex, cross-functional projects and delivering measurable results
9. Proficiency in English; German is a plus
