Job Overview
The Head of Wind Development is a key position responsible for leading a team of experts in wind project development, strategy, and implementation. This role involves working closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
Your Responsibilities:
* Foster and lead a high-performing team of professionals in wind project development.
* Drive strategic alignment and support across the entire value chain of wind project development.
* Oversee project development, including land identification, planning, and permitting.
* E nsure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in project development strategies.
* C oordinate with internal teams and external groups, such as landowners, local communities, and authorities.
* S upport Acquisitions Managers in securing land and negotiating contracts.
* R epresent the organization in interactions with government agencies, landowners, tenants, and local communities.
Requirements:
* Degree in a relevant field such as Geography, Urban Planning, Business Administration, or Engineering.
* Professional experience in wind energy development.
* P roven expertise in renewable energies, preferably in wind energy.
* L eadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
* O rganizational and project management skills.
* T eam player with a collaborative mindset.
* H igh level of initiative, resilience, and entrepreneurial spirit.
* E xcellent communication skills in German.
* G ood English language proficiency.
