IT Operations Expertise Sought
We are on the hunt for a skilled IT Operations Technician to spearhead our ongoing efforts to streamline and fortify our IT infrastructure. As part of our team, you will be instrumental in driving continuous improvements and fostering seamless collaboration between local business teams and central IT.
* Primary Responsibilities:
* Deliver proficient onsite L2 support, efficiently resolving complex issues to maintain operational efficiency
* Monitor help desk trends, identify recurring challenges, and implement actionable improvements across IT services
* Facilitate thorough training sessions for new IT team members
* Develop and share comprehensive training materials and documentation for the central IT L1 Support team
* Serve as the primary interface between the manufacturing site and central IT, ensuring smooth project execution
* Provide insightful feedback to inform practical and effective IT solutions
Requirements:
* Extensive professional experience as an IT technician or system administrator, with a strong focus on L2 support within a manufacturing environment
* A solid understanding of Microsoft Windows environments (clients and servers), Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 services
* Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP and LAN/WAN troubleshooting
* Familiarity with ITIL principles and best practices for incident management, problem management, and change management
* Experience in first-line SAP support is considered advantageous
* Proven skills in project management
* Knowledge of Operational Technology (OT) is beneficial
* Excellent command of spoken and written German and English languages
