YOUR TASKS
* Technical leadership and coordination of interdisciplinary engineering teams within customer projects with a moderate share of basic development activities (including Front Row Monument and seat projects for existing aircraft configurations), taking into account customer requirements, technical guidelines and standards
* Responsibility for the planning and budgeting of development projects, as well as the coordination, assignment and supervision of internal and external resources, including evaluation of results
* Definition and specification of development activities and deliverables
* Coordination of international development and specification meetings with customers, OEMs and suppliers
* Implementation of technical specifications while considering costs, timelines and process requirements
* Acting as the central point of contact for all technical matters throughout the product development process
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
* Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a comparable technical field
* Relevant professional experience in design engineering and customer-oriented project work
* Good knowledge of a 2D/3D CAD system, preferably CATIA
* Very good German and English language skills
* Knowledge of electrical components as well as the calculation and design of lightweight structures, ideally including applicable design and certification regulations
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong organizational skills and a structured way of working
* Strong analytical skills
