The Role
As a Lead Consultant – Supply Chain Management, you will lead agile project teams to accelerate customers’ digital transformation and support Celonis’ international expansion. You will identify customers’ strategic priorities in end-to-end supply chain and operations processes and lead your team to develop data-driven process insights and actions to maximize value. You will leverage the latest Celonis features, including Process Automation, AI, and Machine Learning.
The work you’ll do
* Initiate
o Conduct business workshops to translate customers\' supply chain and operational objectives into high-impact Celonis use cases
o Coordinate with Celonis Data Operations teams to connect the solution to the customer IT environment (e.g., ERP, SCM, and logistics systems)
* Implement
o Lead the Celonis implementation project to address defined supply chain use cases (data modeling, data transformations, process analysis, KPI building)
o Use Celonis technology to identify inefficiencies in procurement, logistics, production, or inventory processes and uncover root causes with the customer
* Adopt
o Lead value workshops to develop business cases and define measures to improve supply chain performance
o Define relevant KPIs for measuring customer success (e.g., on-time delivery, inventory turnover, lead times, working capital impact)
o Quantify business and financial potential and present findings to supply chain and business leaders
o Automate tasks to drive measurable value and improve supply chain resilience and process conformance
* Monitor and enable
o Manage customer expectations and project planning
o Demonstrate and train customer users, establishing the foundation for long-term supply chain transformation and customer success
Qualifications you need
* 8+ years of experience in IT-Consulting, Solution/Data Consulting, or Process Improvement Consulting within Software Vendors, Consulting firms, or System Integrators, ideally with exposure to supply chain or operations domains
* Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions (data models)
* Strong knowledge of data-related languages (SQL required; Python or other languages are a plus)
* Strong appetite for value-driven approaches (KPI definition, business case calculations, value realization) and data topics (Big Data, Data Mining, Process Mining)
* Understanding of supply chain processes (e.g., procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, production planning, logistics, inventory management) and related financial metrics; knowledge of standard ERPs (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus
* Willingness to develop deep expertise on the Celonis solution through continuous learning
* Strong consulting skills and enjoyment in interacting with customers across supply chain, operations and IT functions
* Excellent analytical skills, well-organized, and quick learner
* Fluency in German and English
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Information-oriented Business Administration/Economics, Mathematics, or a comparable program
